Privacy Policy
FullGrid is built privacy-first. We designed the app so it works without an account and without collecting personal information about you. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.
The short version
- No account, no login, no profile.
- We don't collect your name, email, or contacts.
- Your follows, alert preferences, and settings stay on your device.
- We don't sell or share data with advertisers.
Information stored on your device
The series and events you follow, your notification preferences, and your in-app settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed if you delete the app.
Schedule, standings & results data
To keep schedules current, the app downloads publicly available race data (schedules, standings, circuit information, broadcaster listings) from our content servers. These requests are anonymous and contain no personal identifiers beyond the standard technical information any device sends when fetching a file over the internet (such as your IP address, which we do not log to a profile).
Push notifications
If you enable session alerts, your device registers an anonymous push token with the notification service (Expo / Apple Push Notification service) so reminders can be delivered. This token identifies a device, not a person, and is used only to send the alerts you asked for. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, which stops this entirely.
Calendar access
If you use the "Add to Calendar" feature, FullGrid will request access to your device calendar. This access is used solely to add the race sessions you select and to check your existing entries so duplicates aren't created. Calendar access is only requested when you use the feature. FullGrid does not read your calendar for any other purpose, and no calendar data is ever collected, stored by us, or transmitted off your device.
Analytics
FullGrid does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. If we use basic, privacy-respecting crash or usage diagnostics to improve stability, that data is aggregated and never used to identify you.
Children's privacy
FullGrid is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this site.
